Baoku's "Free Nigeria" in semifinals ISC 2005 - February 1, 2006

African Image Arts is proud & excited to announce that " Free Nigeria ", from Baoku's debut CD "OKODORO ORO" has advanced to the semifinals of the 2005 International Songwriting Competition. This is quite an accomplishment with over 15,000 entries from 80 countries. Finalists will be announced February, 2006. We will keep you posted.

Are you a talented musician? Would you like to play for the love of music? Would you like to use your musical talent to make a positive change in the world? If your answer to all these questions is yes, then Baoku is looking for you to come join his African Image Afro Beat Band. Call and let us take Afro beat music to the next level.

Baoku is an African performing artiste and Afro beat musician based in Cincinnati Ohio, he is calling for musicians who would like to play Afro beat.

African drumming class. - August 14, 2005

Baoku is teaching an onging African drumming class at African Image Arts Organization.

Venue: 1255 State Avenue Cincinnati, OH 45204.

Date: Every Saturday.

Time: 1:00pm

Fee: $10.00 per session.

Come and learn to play African drums like a professional. The class is open to all regardless of age, race, color or gender.
